One of the easiest ways to deal with pests and insects in an organic manner is by companion planting. I have a few whiteflies and aphids that I am dealing with right now. I want to protect my tomatoes, so I am going to try companion planting garlic into the raised bed with them. Garlic is one many natural bug and insect repellents that include plants such as marigolds, basil, and nasturtium. Hopefully this will keep the pests away and remove the need for any spraying. Will it work? We’re gonna find out.
